It has been a journey of ups and downs - of delight and doubt. As all worthwhile journeys are.
After months of reading, sketching, gathering images and ideas and sifting through them to distill
the elusive essence, here is the first painting of my long dreamed about 2010 series.
Mixed media on canvas (one smaller affixed to one larger canvas) measuring 48" x 30": acrylic paint, collage,
calligraphy, pencil, gel pen. That medieval mood with which I feel such a strong connection
continues to be a key element in my work while the drawn figures add a new dimension.
